Mrs Hart and Mrs Hanratty were pleased to be invited by Middletown Centre for Autism to meet with the Taoiseach on Tuesday. This meeting provided a valuable opportunity to discuss the essential support Middletown offers not only to schools, but also to parents, families, and the wider community.
During the conversation, we spoke about the challenges faced in supporting children and young people with Autism. The Taoiseach listened attentively as we outlined the gaps in current services and the changes needed to improve outcomes for those we support. We are grateful for the opportunity to share our experiences and advocate for greater awareness, resources, and inclusion.
